Build local conservation capacity through field training and partnerships with schools.

Generate updated population data for the IUCN and propose adjustments to the species’ conservation status if warranted.

Estimate the current population size of the Madagascar Plover in Andavadoaka.

Identify life stages and ecological pressures that contribute most to population decline.

Conduct a population viability analysis (PVA) using current and historical demographic data.

Raise awareness of the species’ vulnerability through community education and training.
