Support Madagascar’s Wildlife

Madagascar is home to some of the rarest species on Earth—and many are at risk. At Madagascar Nature Conservation, we work to protect this unique biodiversity and empower local communities to care for it.

Your donation helps us make a real impact.

From restoring wetlands to monitoring endangered birds, your support fuels real conservation action.

Buy a Handmade Necklace

As part of our grassroots conservation work in the spiny forests of southwestern Madagascar, we are supporting alternative livelihoods for local communities—especially hunters—who often lack sustainable income. One of our collaborators, a respected elder from the Masikoro tribe, creates beautiful handmade necklaces inspired by the unique animals and plants we study and protect, such as the Antimena Chameleon, Spider Tortoise, and Long-tailed Ground Roller.

By purchasing one of these necklaces for 17 EUR, you directly support his livelihood and his continued participation in our conservation monitoring team. All proceeds go to him and his family. This small but meaningful initiative helps bridge conservation and community wellbeing. Thank you for being part of this effort.

At the moment, the necklaces are only available for purchase in person at our field camp or by contacting us via email.
